Algonquin Township, the largest township in McHenry County, is located in the southeast corner of McHenry County, Illinois.  It includes the communities of Algonquin, Cary, and Fox River Grove as well as portions of Barrington Hills, Crystal Lake, and Lake in the Hills.  In all, Algonquin Township encompasses 66 precincts.
